Review: Million Dollar Baby is a film about boxing as Braveheart is a film about men riding horses in kilts. What is a movie to experience if ever you're entertaining thoughts of loyalty, determination, talent, or talent, age, youth, courage, fear, doom, and the pain and joy of life and death. and read reviews Million Dollar Baby and it looks like it. Roger Ebert may be soft to the cinema because he is clearly a big fan, but he knows not to throw me lightly word masterpiece. However, it is to MDB, and rightly so. The story is simple and searing. A gal (Hilary Swank), a lot of heart and no experience aspires champion of the world. It's Rocky in a sports bra. A gray owner trainer-manager/gym battle (Clint Eastwood) reluctantly takes on. His best friend and his assistant wise man (Morgan Freemna) stands with them as plot unwinds consistently picking up speed, scene by scene, act after act without any problems. Eastwood and Freeman are the top artists in their field and they, along with Swank beautiful, dignified life present you three people you care about and remember. Arena is the box, but it could be but even boating or baking. It is a story about values ââand truths that go far beyond sports and movies. I went into the Lowes Lincoln Square Theater Million Dollar Baby last night knowing that I would go for a walk and decided to jump on board. What was a beautiful, memorable ride.
