Review: This film does an excellent job of combining images withmodern Shakespearian dialogue. Indeed, when I first saw this film when it comes outbecause Today, eight years later (and middle school, seven years after completion), only to realize that it's really good in this film. When using the quaint language forcing Luhrmann film did a wonderful job. This is moviebrings new life into Shakespeare's words, and know playalmost heart, even as it is refreshing, for a completely new word and listening environment. This version of Romeo and Juliet and, in fact, play a wider history addsomething. soundtrack is excellent, the acting is solid (Danes and DiCaprio do a wonderful job of showing young lovers), and the scenery is amazing. This film was jump-started the trend of remakes of Shakespeare today, and I think his best.
