Review: Most films require the viewer to identify with the character to be truly absorbed in the film. If you can not feel something for the character, the audience lost.Luckily, if Ridley Scott Russell Crowe is so fascinating and compelling as the overall favorite of his troops and beloved servant of the people, that the film actually works. Perhaps one of the best actors today, Crowe brings this epic film on his very shoulders.Not able to say that the only reason it works. Support the team, especially Connie Nielsen buoy film to capture new perspectives.Jacquin Phoenix, definitely has a personality egotisitcal show, stealing every scene he's in Phoenix, probably put on the card Gladiator. But the real shining star in this film is incredible action sequences that shake the viewer right in the opening sequence, and the truth Maximus, the Roman Empire. Scotts camera work in these sequences is complete with a modern twist that really works for scenes.Crowe horrific now have the respect it deserves this tremendous performance. Gladiator makes the most of its two and a half hours, marking a triumphant return to the epic days of the forgotten classics of the film. STONE ALL MAXIMUS!
