Review: I must say I am very surprised by all the negative reviews I've been reading. Im a passionate lover of movies, often visiting the theater at least twice a week, if not more. Something about can just sit in a dark room with a big screen and sound. Just have fun. The movie is funny, not everyone is a realist and I think that's the point. If I want something realistic, I'll watch the documentary (which I did many times). I think a lot of the reviews are very unfair to this film. I have seen the truth and I love it. Especially when I first saw it as a kid, it scared the crap out of me. But we must remember that we are in a new era with the technologies and different expectations. I am sure that, if the original was released today for the first time, it would have been shot down more than this remake. While I love the original, the effects do not scare me as it once was. And those who complain about the acting and screenplay for a new movie? Come on. It's not perfect, but nowhere near as bad as other people make it out to be. And Jane Levy really incredible in this film. I would like to see this movie again and again just to see her act.People judge this film too hard. It does this funny movie? Yes. A lot. They are the good effects? The effect is A + and the score was beautiful. I would like to see it again? Yes. I would like to go see the movie again and just buy the Blu Ray.This is not intended to be a remake of the first, more for the revival of an ancient evil and classic. Watch this movie with an open mind and you will enjoy. View and compare with the original? You might hate it, because they are not the same movie. Both are brilliant, but I would be lying if I did not say that I enjoyed this version over the old one. Acting as Levi is perfect, great violence, scary good, and the film had my attention all the way through.
